Agustin Argelich – Director, Argelich Ingenieros

Agustin Argelich, Telecom Engineer by La Salle University of Barcelona, a 25 year veteran of the telecommunications industry who is the owner, founder and principal consultant of Argelich Ingenieros, an independent Telecommunications and Hi-Tech Systems Engineering and Consultancy company. He founded the company after the Barcelona ’92 Olympic Games. He was one of the youngest project leaders in the Barcelona ’92 Olympic Organizing Committee as Technological Director of the IX Paralympic Games. He has led significant voice, data and video network projects in Europe for business and also for public organizations. He also has deep expertise in telecom expenses management, helping organizations to optimize their telecom cost. He is a member of the Society of Communications Technology Consultants International, www.sctcconsultants.org. He was elected Vice President of SCTC in 2007. After his period as vice president he currently is serving as Board Member and Chairman International Affairs Committee. Before the Olympic games, Agustin worked as Telecom Manager in Asco Nuclear Power Plant and served as Lieutenant in Spanish Air Force, near one year in Zaragoza USA and Spanish Common Air Base. Agustin is also a member of other professional associations as COITT, FEANI and IEEE.
